Hearts of Compassion

“Learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow.” – Isaiah 1:17 (NIV)

Hearts of Compassion is a ministry of Parkview Baptist Church that seeks to:

  1. Educate the church and community about orphans, foster care, and adoption locally, nationally and internationally.
  2. Provide information, encouragement and support for families who are called to adopt or foster.
  3. Raise money through fundraising events and individual contributions to help families with the financial burden of adoption through our partnership with ABBA Fund.

We believe that hearts will be transformed through the compassion of Jesus as people learn about God’s heart for the fatherless. The Bible tells us we are to “..defend the cause of the fatherless..” (Is. 1:17 and Psalm 82:3).
